![]() In fact, they are probably some of the worst "suites" at sea (at least by today's standards). If it matters, we're on the Verandah deck. How are the junior suites on the Inspiration? I'm sailing soon with DH and our little one. The 8 junior suites (4 on each side) furthest away from the front of the ship are partially obstructed by life boats. Those are the 2 ways to get to/from the "secret deck". From that deck, there are stairs that go down to those public walkways below the balconies. You will have a very short walk to that deck from your room, as it is on Verandah deck, and there is a door leading out to it. That walkway is used sometimes by crew and by people who are heading to the "secret deck", which overlooks the front of the ship. It's not a terrible thing, but it's good for you to know about it ahead of time. It's not used by many people, but it is there. One thing of note: There is a public walkway one deck below the balconies, that stick out a little further than the balconies. Your little one will have a sofa bed (not a pull-out) to sleep on, which are much nicer than the upper bunks. But some people feel a suite should be a little larger, as the indoors part is the same size and setup as an oceanview room on Carnival's large ships. The room (indoors) is 220 sq.ft, which is much larger than any of the regular rooms on that ship. It's not a huge difference, but many people say they notice it. The jr suites on that ship have a 30 sq.ft.
